Alycat is a singer and a songwriter. But not really a singer/songwriter. And she plays bass. Her songs are what they call "spunk funk"...aka a tasty blend of funk, soul, jazz, rock and jam. AlyCat's boisterous, unruly persona consistently demands the crowd's attention and holds it until the very end . When she grabs her bass she always proceeds to play her fingers off.
