Amadaye rose to prominence on the HipHop scene dropping lyrics that feed the heart, mind and soul of its listeners. The ever-changing MC displays a comfort level that is in stark contrast to the pretentiousness that seems to be so popular today. Going back to his music roots, the finished product will follow in the tradition of P-Rock and CL smooth, Gang Starr and other artists recognized the charm of hip hop with soul.
Born Ramsey Brown on October 1, 1979 in the Dundee Village area of Baltimore County, Amadaye came from humble beginning. As a youngster, music kept him out of trouble. As a member of several groups before branching out on his own in 1994, Amadaye has gained a reputation as being a hardworking and diligent performer. By taking the road less traveled and choosing to delve deeper for subject matter, he hoped to be able to tap in to that market that values lyrical content over sensationalism. This lyrically conscious MC isn't afraid to expose his heart, mind, and vulnerabilities on a track. A mature soul, Amadaye aims to make music that talks to you like an uncle that has been through a few things in life.
Having lent his smooth-flowing raps to a variety of musical projects over the years, he has gain the respect of those in the music circuit. 2004s Wire Mixtape helped to generate a regional buzz and thus heightened the anticipation for his full release.
