Movies
I'm a Movie Fanatic. I've probably seen all the movies in your collection. Favorite movie of all time: "La Haine" by Matthieu Kassovitz.
Television
I fall asleep to it. That's all it's good for.
Books
The time of getting fame for your name on its own is over. Artwork that is only about wanting to be famous will never make you famous. Any fame is a by-product of making something that means something. You don't go to a restaurant and order a meal because you want to have a shit. - Banksy
Heroes
People who take their passion seriously and put relentless effort into being the best they can be. So yeah, my friends, basically.
LA's MC XYC (http://www.myspace.com/mcxyz) has been putting out the B2B sessions for a while now, to some amazing feedback and success. I was honored to be asked to be part of it, and the newest edition features a set by me, back to back with DJ Toxic (http://www.myspace.com/toxicdnb). Check it out!
Much respect to MC XYZ for putting this out!

Originally from Berlin (Germany), Amadeus has been pushing the sounds of Ragga / Jungle / Drum N' Bass for over a decade now. He rose up playing clubs and raves all over Colorado, (where he went to college), from massive "Roofless Productions" and "Together Productions" Raves to small but popular clubs such as SOMA in Boulder (Mixmag voted Top Ten club in the USA). His first high impact mix-CD "Phonik Boom" was released on Organik Recordings (now defunct) in 2000 and the following release "Midsummer Night Sessions" (Organik Recordings, 2001) was praised by BPM Magazine as "The music is sooo fine - drum and bass bliss. Props for not being the typical band wagon monkey. If this guy is in your neighborhood give him some props!" (February 2001 issue), and garnered him runner-up in the North-American DJ contest "Unleash the Beats".
Currently living in Brooklyn, he travels throughout the US, Canada and Europe to perform his unique style of Ragga and Hip Hop infused Drum N' Bass, Dubwise and Ragga Jungle.
Not only active behind the decks he hosts the monthly "King City Sundays" (previously the weekly "Plan B Dnb Sundays") since 2006. He is also the mind behind SURVIVAL STORY - The Ragga Jungle Compilation (http://www.survivalstory.net), with a second volume dropping in 2009. He puts out mix-CDs on the regular to great resonance in the scene (download them for free at www.musicv2.com/artist/amadeus), works on tunes including a collaboration with new school ragga jungle legend Krinjah (free tunes for download at http://www.virb.com/amadeus) and tours Europe every year since 2004 (check out the latest tour blog: http://amadeus030.wordpress.com/2008/06/11/amadeus-euro-tour-2008-blog). His live performances can be viewed on his youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/amadeus030).
Amadeus is part of the worldwide TOUCH CREW, a collective of DJ's, Producers, Musicians, Designers, Artists, MC's and Graffiti Artists, as well has half of the Producer Tag Team KING CITY ROCKAZ with DJ / Producer I-Cue (Ingenious Music, Konkrete Jungle, Jungle Sky).

Always comin' correct with loads of unreleased dubplates from international producers his unique sound is defined by versatility and crowd interaction, always inciting great respect and overall dancehall madness.
24 PRODUCERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD - 1 UNIQUE DOUBLE CD
"Survival Story - The Ragga Jungle Compilation" was born in late 2006 as part of a discussion on the message board Ragga-Jungle.com, a popular online gathering spot for Ragga Jungle Producers, DJ's, fans and enthusiasts in general. Since it is quite common for producers to share their tunes for listening and feedback purposes on this internet message board, a thread (or “topic”) discussed the lack of releases and the difficulties some producers might face trying to put their tunes out. The idea for a compilation
was tossed around, and New York City based DJ and long time Ragga-Jungle enthusiast Amadeus Tunis (who goes by “Amadeus”), decided to make this compilation a reality. The support by the community was whole hearted right from the start, so to keep things fair, a voting process was set up and any producer who was interested was allowed to enter up to three tunes, which were voted on by people from around
the world. The compilation began to take shape, and after the results were in, the decision was made to make it a double-CD, in order to showcase more tunes than the initially planned single CD release. Featuring producers from many different countries, such as Canada, USA, UK, France, Turkey, Austria to name a few, SURVIVAL STORY showcases talent with varying degrees of experience, discographies, sounds and style in order to present a multicolored slice of the many facets of today’s international Ragga-Jungle scene.
“I hope you enjoy this important piece of Ragga Jungle history, since compilations such as this one are not common and I am looking forward to further volumes to keep spreading this sound into all corners of the world and promote the reality that a sound often thought dead is very much alive with producers, DJ’s and fans of all ages, with an intense passion and respect for this sound and the Reggae / Dancehall culture it is so closely related to. ”
Respect & Blessings
-Amadeus

Come check out my newest DrumnBass tune "The King Is Back" recently added to the player. It features a collection of samples from various Michael Jackson songs and is sort of my little tribute to him from a dnb standpoint. If you're a fan you'll def enjoy this track. Leave some love if you like what you hear, it's always appreciated. =) Cheers!
