ルーマニア生まれ。ブカレスト音楽大学で､オペラを専攻｡翌年修士学位を取得。
在学中に歌唱力と音楽の理論・専門知識を身に付ける。
音大在学中の頃より、名門音楽団体の正規メンバーとしても活躍。ブカレストのGeorge Enescu交響楽団、ルーマニアラジオ合唱団に参加。これらを通じて海外へと活動の幅を広げ、イタリア、オーストリア、ドイツ、イスラエル、スイス、中国などで、ワールドクラスの活動をする音楽家たちとの共演を果たす。
2001年からジャズ、ゴスペル、ポップなど、ジャンルにとらわれないライブも数多くこなしながら、さらに歌唱の幅を広げていく。
2002年 活動拠点を札幌へ。JRタワー日航ホテル札幌Sky-Jでのステージを中心に、北海道内外でのライブ活動をスタートする。
2005年 ゲームソフト｢ファントム･キングダム｣(日本一ソフトウェア)のサウンドトラックに作詞家、シンガーとして参加（Mihaelaという名前で）。
2006年 アニメ映画｢ゲド戦記｣のオリジナルサウンドトラックにシンガーとして起用。
2007年 東京にて、表参道ヒルズをはじめ各所でライブ東日本フェリーＣＭソングに起用 TV東京系アニメ「獣神演舞」劇中音楽にヴォイスで参加。
2008年 YOSAKOIソーランの野外ステージに登場。Amazing Graceを熱唱。7月、初のCD「Wanna Fly」をリリース。
趣味は自然と触れあうこと。とりわけデリケートに表情を変える海が大好き。
Born in Roumania , predestinated to sing ,Amalia feels blessed to put her gift at the service of bringing joy in people's lifes through the healing power of music.
From early in her life she begin to dream about becoming singer, dream that became reality by entering and finishing the Music University in Bucharest, where she obtain her Master Diploma also as an opera singer. During her classic career , Amalia was member of two prestigious musical institutions: Philarmonic" George Enescu" and " The roumanian Radio-Choir" in Bucharest. Through this institutions she performed overseas in countries like Italy, Austria, Germany, Israel, Switzerland, China, etc. In parallel Amalia had various live concerts singing opera, vocal-simfonic, gospel and pop music.
From 2001 Amalia decided to make her main career to be focussed more on jazz, gospel and pop music.
From 2002 Amalia lives in Sapporo, Japan, where she is continuing her career as a singer, earning ecognition from audience and colleagues , as her performances reflect her personality , and the desire to bring emotional experiences in people's lifes.
Between life concerts all over Hokkaido (in 2008 even appearing on stage at Yosakoi festival, singing " Amazing grace " during " Candle night" )and in Tokyo( 2007- Omote Sando Hills,etc) , recordings for soft-games ( "Pantom Kingdom"- 2005 ),recording for animation movies ( "Gedosenki- Thales of Earthsea" by Ghibli Studio-2006, Jiuushin Enbu-THV animation movie-2007),comercials(as the one for Higashi Nohon Ferry recorded in 2006) and timid attemps to compose and write lyrics(as of the song "Wanna Fly" that became the title for her first album ,released in july 2008), Amalia's dream is to bring people a piece of Heaven in their hearts so they will appeciate more the gift of liｆe and love they received from God just because they are what they are- human beings- and nothing more...
