my head is forever in the clouds. i am forever lost in one big ethereal dreamy wonderland. and i love it. i love looking at dandelions and wondering if i'm blowing away a tiny little fairyworld into oblivion. i love looking up at the clouds slowly rolling by and making shapes and stories and music in my head. i love listening to the ocean make lovely music with the sand at sunrise and wondering who else in the world is in the exect opposite spot in that moment. i love making up stories about people i don't know, while at the mall or driving somewhere. i love thinking that my favorite authors are really aliens from other planets, and their stories are really histories that they shouldn't be telling us silly mortals, and that when they return to their planets they'll be punished for sharing the secrets of their worlds. oh, i'm a dreamer. and a philosopher. and a wonder aficionado. and a believer. i believe in fairies and unicorns and mermaids and dragons and magic and karma and love. i believe that anything is possible if you only try hard enough. i believe that there is more to life than whatever anyone thinks, and you should never let anyone tell you otherwise. i believe that the world is a wonderful place, if you'd only open your eyes and look around. i'm pretty strange, in all senses of the word. i'm genuinely surprised i have friends at all. i suppose i'm just very lucky.
i'm trying to figure out a way for me to change the world.
so far, no luck.
but one day, someone is going to say my name in a speech. something about how i inspired them to live, not just exist, or how they never would have done it without me cheering them on, or how that one thing i did changed everything for everyone, and now nothing will ever be the same.
and maybe one day i'll learn to fly. yeah.
