About Amana

Hellooo! I'm Amana and I'm 18 years old. I first started performing at the age of three at Three Spires Dance School. I began my obsession with music when I was about ten, after performing in a pantomime at the Belgrade Theatre. I started singing lessons with Joanne Brown at the age of 11.

For a while I concentrated on my singing and performed in various gigs, I also won Teenidol in 2004 and then worked with the founder of Teenidol, Dutch Van Spall. Having decided to concentrate on a career in Musical Theatre I no longer sing with Dutch and his Record Company (Big Help Records). I also worked last year as a choreographer for the teenidol graduates.

I have been a member of the amateur dramatics group, YOG since I was 12 years old. I was also asked last show to work as the Assistant Choreographer, which was a great experience. From time to time I also help the choreographer teach at her other theatre group.

Also, I play guitar and piano.

Currently, I'm studying at Arts Ed in London. It's amazing!
