Aman Ali is a standup comedian that is not afraid to speak his mind. His jokes cross age, cultural and religious barriers with the intention of bringing people together with his humor.
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, he draws much of his material from living in a household with four other brothers . . . and only two controllers on the family Nintendo.
Ali has been doing standup comedy for almost three years. He has shared the same stage with other great Muslim artists like Native Deen, Seven 8 Six, Dawud Wharnsby and Azhar Usman. Aside from performing at comedy clubs across the country, Ali too has been a feature performer at events organized by the Islamic Society of North America, Muslim American Society and Muslim Students Association National.
Before moving to New York, Ali was a Capitol Hill reporter in Washington DC and a former news commentator on the show World News Now. His work has appeared in publications such as the New York Times, Cleveland Plain Dealer and MTV.Members
