Batman... what doesn't he have in that utility belt?..
Me me me... what about me? I am a mother of 2: Noelle (5) and Livia (3), a full time training/product communications specialist, and a part time teacher for Boise State University. I enjoy hanging out with the girls. In general, I love life. Sure, it's not perfect, but what's not to love? I have a wonderful family, wonderful friends, and I can say I love waking up and going to work everyday.
I enjoy taking the kids on new adventures and seeing their reactions to new things. This year their firsts included an amusement park, Renaissance festival, blue berry picking, the Children's Museum, camping, hockey games and so much more. We love to have fun.
I'm all sorts of contradictions. I'm silly and serious, easy-going and stubborn, happy and moody, and on and on. I think most of all, I like making the kids laugh even if I look like a fool.
I believe in being straight edge, something I kinda have been on and off my entire life. No drinking, no drugs, no smoking, and no being promiscuous. Some people say that's no fun, and I say I don't need any of that to have fun.
Secretly, I want to be a novelist, comic book writer, comic store owner, or a superhero... and since the later isn't working out for me, I have to work on one of the others. Although I think being a mom sometimes qualifies us as being superheroes so maybe I'm not as far off as I think. :-)
Who I'd like to meet:
Everybody I'd like to meet is in the afterlife I think... Elvis, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Johnny Cash. Most people you can just read about on the Internet these days so you find out everything you want to know already.
But hmmm... Stan Lee. He seems just like one cool fellow. And Neil Gaiman. Definitely Neil Gaiman. And quite possibly Sidney Crosby just to tell him that he's the man. And CM Punk because I want to see if the No Gimmicks theme is a gimmick.... and because he's the man, too.
Maybe Jeph Loeb so I can find out the secrets of Heroes and Zachary Quinto to see if he's anything like Sylar because he plays him so damn convincing.
Best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most joyous traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, but with respect for the religious persuasion of others who choose to practice their own religion as well as those who choose not to practice a religion at all;

Thanksgiving is a time of thanks, and Manda I am very thankful that you are a part of my daughter's life. I know that with you as her friend she will be safe. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your beautiful girls.
Oh to be back home in the cold. Sitting around the pool soaking up sun with a fruity beverage in my hand, and being drunk by noon is overrated anyhow.. Back to reality.. Although I did hate not being able to see the Pens games.
Yeah I did hear about Whit. I got my Penguins text message on Saturday. I feel cool when I get a message from the Pens. I think it's Sid sitting there sending me the texts. I mean, it's not like he's busy being the best hockey player in the world or anything. :p
Oh what the heck. I'll continue the torment by telling you that the cake is done. And it is definitely the ultimate in awesomeness. And the cupcakes are cute too!
