    Amanda Lauren is a multi-tasking machine! Actress, singer, improv comic, and dancer are just some credits to her varied resume. With a youthful exuberance Amanda approaches each production she works on as confident professional that simply loves to entertain and capture an audience. <br /></span></p> <p><span class="style2"> All though Amanda loves to sing her true passion is acting, she loves to make other people laugh. Amanda is constantly striving to become a better performer and recently undertook the Team Performance Workshop in Comedy & Improv at the Groundlings in L.A. Once she returned to Vancouver she participated in the Metro Theatre’s pantomime Cinderella and in Gateway theatre’s production of Secussical the Musical as the lead Jojo. <br /></span></p> <p><span class="style2"> Amanda recorded her debut album Hitch a Ride in L.A. with Upscale Records. The experience of recording an album was invaluable. Amanda continues to take vocal lessons with Lindsay Kipp and Judith Rabinonvitch (her clients have included Sarah McLachlan & Avril Lavigne) and write new music in anticipation of her next record. <br /></span></p> <p><span class="style2"> I'm surrounded by a really loving and supportive family - Thank you Mom, Dad and Jacqueline!!! Straight out of Vancouver, Canada, AMANDA LAUREN recently launched her Hitch A Ride Promotional EP with FOREVER YOUNG, a collaboration with Alphaville's publisher. We are excited to be in the studio working on additional songs.

Simultaneously, I've been working on my acting career - honing in on my craft. This Spring I was in two showcases with a fabulous cast, directed by Carol Tarlington of Tarlington Productions. I just recently booked the lead in a musical sched'd for late August (more news to come opptys to see me). :)

I'm repped signed with Candace Fulton at Kirk Talent and have numerous additions and call-backs, which is exciting. Just a matter of time before someone recognizes. :) I'm just grateful for the opportunity.

I'd love to give big shout outs to Michael Challenger of ANU Productions, Candace Fulton and Lisa Kirk at Kirk Talent for taking a chance on me. Grateful for your dedication to my development.
