Amanda is a proud East Coast gal who comes by her love of music honestly. Brought up in small town Nova Scotia with Ceilidh’s in the kitchen, she began breaking into song at a young, young age. A big kid at heart, she has grown up to become a winsome performer with a unique sound. Trained as an actor and singer, Amanda moves from the stage, to the screen, to sit comfily behind her guitar on a regular basis. When not in Toronto playing her tunes, or throwing down vocals for other bands, she can be found treading the boards in theatres across the country-writing music along the way when she’s got something to say.
Music has long been my refuge. my truth. my outlet. my sandbox. my guide. the songs i write are of and from the heart. tales of heartache, longing, and change. ‘She sings with a clarity and honesty that will break your heart and leave you humming her tunes.’
come on in and have a listen! you are most, most welcome.
