? Next, is HOPE. MY SISTER-aka my BFF HOPE. She is SO wonderful to me.Hope is the only person who has ALWAYS been there for me. We've always been there for each other. We are exactly 13 months apart. I call her Hopi. She calls me ManMan. She's the only person who could tell me what she thinks about something and I actually listen--most of the time anyway-and when I don't listen to her-she usually ends up right. When I talk, she listens. When she talks, I listen. NO matter what time of the day--if we have a problem we call each other. There are SOO many times I've called her at some random hour in the morning just to tell her that someone hurt my feelings. She's the only person who can tell me that I get mad too easy and when I jokingly say, "maybe i need medicine for anger" and she laughs like she knows it's true; and it doesn't offend me. We are really different, yet SO much alike. She's been there for me through North Carolina-the worst eleven months in our "family life". --Only the two of us could comprehend life with our father. We were there for each other when our PawPaw died. She was just turned 11 and I was about to be 10-in five days. NOW, that was a bad time for us. We were the only grandkids that lived with PawPaw. We were the closest to him-so we could say I know what your going through, and it actually be completely true. I look up to her. I admire her. I love her more than she'll or anyone will ever know. I respect her. I trust her. I need her even when she thinks I might be too grown up to do so. This past semester was really hard on the both of us. I graduated in 2006, and I wasn't ready to be a grown-up. SO, I came to school where she was-good ol' LU. Not to mention, I had missed all the important deadlines to get financial aid anywhere else. This past semester was hard. I moved to San Marcos to go to Texas State, where I really wanted to go. It was SO incredibly hard to comprehend that she wouldn't be just an hour away. It was SO hard to go period, but it's what I wanted to do. The most amazing thing about me leaving was how Hope supported me. Through tears, she told me that she was going to miss me but this is what i needed to do. Don't get me wrong it was difficult to be so far away, but we honestly got closer together. (p.s. Hopi, yes this is the blog. :)) She is my hero. I'm so proud of her, She is graduated from college in May of 2008 against all odds! No matter what certain people thought-she did it. She's a wonderful sister-the BEST-no exaggeration-Ask Andrew, he's 8-he won't lie. She is one of the biggest reasons I am who I am, where I am, and what I am becoming.
