Since her debut performance at just the age of 4 years old Amanda has quickly become one of the hottest rising stars in England.
Amanda grew up in a small village situated in the Lake District with a population of only 250 people, and in Amanda's own words, "an awful lot of sheep and cows"!!!!!!!!!!
As a young child Amanda began her love of music singing in school, church and local Village concerts. In 2002 she appeared on UK television show "Stars in Their Eyes" where she won the show from an entry number of 20,000 and was later named as the contestant that persuaded the Producers to start the series for children under 16. Following Amanda's success on the TV show she was quickly booked for Charity Events and concerts throughout the UK performing alongside artists such as Westlife, Sugababes, Alan Carr, Lemar, McFly, The Hoosiers, Shayne Ward, Liberty X, Escala, Mutya Buena, Chico etc
Following this success Amanda began working on her solo album collaborating with Producers and Writers behind artists such as Beyonce, Chris Brown, Christina Aguillera, Jamie Foxx, Kelly Rowland, Mario, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Rihanna and many many more. In 2008 after listening to Amanda's work Shayne Lynch of Boy Group "Boyzone" invited Amanda to be their support for their 2008 reunion tour. Amanda toured with the band throughout the UK opening each night at major arenas such as O2 London, Wembley, MEN Manchester, NEC Birmingham etc etc - Amanda said that this was the BEST experience of her whole life and never wanted it to end - I loved performing on stage infront of thousands every night I felt right at home!!!
Amanda is now back in the studio continuing to work on her album ............... What can you expect to hear from Amanda??????
Well ... Her Influences range from Pink, Beverly Knight, Tracy Chapman, Keri Hilson, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, Janis Joplin, One Republic, The Script and even range to Celine Dion.
Amanda describes her Unique sound as Pop Rock with a twist of Urban!!!
Now, her evolution is being filmed every step of the way for The Dream Maker, a reality television show.
The Reality series will cover the whole process of making her into a star - all of the creative and business world elements that go into the transformation, which is totally on the fairy tale fast-track in A.M.A.N.D.A's case.
