Bucks County singer-songwriter Amanda Penecale has been writing songs since she was in grade school. However, it wasn't until Philadelphia music journalist/promoter David Wannop convinced her to play her music in public in May of '07, that she started enchanting audiences with her pure voice and fingerpicking guitar.
A graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design, Amanda's interest in music grew from her love of storytelling. Her ideas for song craft stem from her interest in creating something from nothing, and her process is very similar to her fine art. Now an art teacher, Amanda continues to write music and play throughout the Philadelphia region.
Amanda has appeared at many Philadelphia area venues including the Tin Angel, Milkboy Coffee, Chaplin’s, and Puck. Her song “Say It Out Loud” was selected by Philadelphia Independent radio station, 88.5 WXPN, as a “Philly Local Pick of the Day”. Amanda’s new 5 song Ep, “Chalkboard” has just been completed at Cambridge Sound Studio in Newtown, and is available though CDbaby.com and itunes.

Amanda, I So wish I Could Have made it as planned But, Fates intervened and Positive Energy kept me in Kansas City! trust me the disappointment by all my friends expecting me back home again is Tempered with the goodness of Soul Which Arose to keep me here!
