Our team core, has been in the spa industry for over 5 years. She started out working as a manager of a salon in Carpentersville, IL and 1 years later opened her own spa. While growing her own business, she expanded her massage skills by studying therapeutic massage at Northern Prairie School of Massage in Sycamore, IL. Her motivation to continue her massage training came from her mother's diagnosis of Lymphedema,a side effect of mastectomy, by becoming certified in Lymphatic and manual lymph drainage. This treatment can aide in the reduction of swelling for many different conditions. As her career started in lies her true passion, Hair color and cutting. Her clientelle is typically the laid back conservitive client, like her, the business and blue collar. Her drive for education and in salon training keeps all the stylists forging forward and ahead of the game.

About me: Amanda's Spa has been in the industry for over 5 years. We stated out on Peace Rd in De Kalb sharing the space with two other businesses. We have since grown to a 6 chair, 3 pedicure station, 2 nail tables, and 4 treatment room spa. Word of mouth from our valued customers has propelled us thus far. We look to continue to offer complete care services customized to each and everyone of our visitors.

Megan is our Senior Stylist. She has been in the industry for 9 years and we are blessed to have her. It's her attention to detail and energy that win clients over the first time that they sit in her chair. While Megan enjoys cutting and coloring her true passions are in the spa area. Megan is consistantly learning and tightening her skills in the area of facials and bodywraps. As her name states she is our youngest and trendiest stylist. Sarah connects best with all our college students and those looking for high fashion trends in the cutting and coloring department. Her high energy personallity with keep you on your toes and her talent will keep your looks that way as well.
