Yea, I bought a Nikon D50 off a friend, I'm hoping it works.. I mean.. it looks like its in good shape but I dont have a charger for it and theres something odd about the veiwscreen.. everything is alittle dark.. but I cant tell anything until I get power to it! Thats what I do at Best Buy though, I work in Digital Imaging mainly (cameras, but I also do MP3, Car audio, and gaming) so its like I'm ALWAYS around cameras. Best Buy has some good kits for sale though, I'm sure you'll deff be able to find a bargain on Black Friday for a DSLR, butttt you could check Ebay and Craigslist alot.. thats what I did when I was looking for my first camera.. ended up getting it off Ebay for a hellll of alot cheaper.. just didnt have the protection plan on it.
