About Flesh of the Gods

Flesh of the Gods is a synthesizer based project that was recorded in July 2006. The material was recorded in one session as an improvisational project while under the influence of the Amanita Muscaria (i.e. SOMA) mushroom.

The material consists of 2 tracks titled "Hynogogia" and "Hypnopompia" and is of full playing length to aproximately 1 hour.

Hypnogia was contains the music as recorded on synthesizer, which was designed to flow with the waves and plateaus of the Amanita Induced state. Vocal tracks which were recorded are played in reverse over the first track.

Hypnopompia contains the same same music, only played in reverse, with the vocal tracks of Hypnogogia played forward.

The concept of the material is to induce a state of meditation before falling into REM sleep which offers subconscious suggestion to dream in an aware and lucid state. - Ideally the listener will drift into REM sleep by the second track, where the suggestive lyrics are once again played forward and further inducing significant results within the drum.

The the influence of Amanita Muscaria tends to give a great deal of compliments to the material while listening, the desired intention for it's results should be possible to a listener who can reach a proper state of mind.

A label is currently being sought to release the material.
