To me, music has always been the tool I use to express my outlook on the world. I was 9 years old the first time I picked up an instrument and began expressing myself through music. I appreciate the different functions a song can serve, whether that function is telling a story, imparting a spark of emotion, or inspiring a thought-provoking snapshot of life. Whatever the purpose of music may be, the calling card of mine has always been the faith and optimism I live my life by. The world is full of chaos and pain, so we all need that fresh breath of air—a glimpse of hope that will get us through to better days.
My newest musical endeavor has been inspired by the recent opportunities I’ve had to try something a bit different. As a change of pace from the traditional stage music scene, I’ve gotten to play several worship sets at various churches. I put my heart and soul into a more acoustic-based record featuring songs with catchy melodies about the numerous subjects that are dear to me.
In an industry packed with gimmicks, I seek only to create a genuine experience with each listener. If my music can come alive and create hope and connection, it makes everything worthwhile. I hope you enjoy it!
Amaradio's band Amaradio has performed at many prestigious events, such as the Van's Warped Tour, and took first place on D.J. Rosstar's Punk Show Top Unsigned Band contest. The band has performed at several exclusive venues throughout California and has opened for big-name bands such as The Plain White Tees. Amaradio recorded the "She's Got You" EP and had a song from the album. featured on STAR 98.7 fm.
