I love all kinds of music. I listen to old school-The Temptations, James Brown, Al Green, etc.- daily. I listen to other music-country (Carrie Underwood, Big and Rich, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Keith Urban and the Dixie Chicks are off the chain), rap (because you know hip hop is dead), r&b, etc.- according to my mood. I love music with a purpose....
Movies
The greatest comedy of all time and one of my favorite movies is "Coming To America" (and not the television version). 300 was cool. My favorite 3 hour flick is "Man On Fire". I love true stories. I don't do horror flicks (unless I know I am not sleeping alone for the next month- "The Ring" and "Jeepers Creepers I and II" messed me up for about 2 months)- I was 18 when I first saw one- my momma didn't allow those "spirits" in her house.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS..hands down -my favorite show on tv. I have been watching that since I was 4. I AM A HUGE SPORTS FAN (preferably college over professional-but I like them both.) I love ESPN! Seriously, I may be a bigger sports fan than the average guy. I like Rob and Big, Punk'd, 24, House, All of Us, Run's House, Best Week Ever, the out takes of American Idol, The Flava of Love/ I Love New York, Iron Chef, Awards Shows and Nip Tuck.
Books
"Confessions of a Video Vixen" because it reminds me that no matter how much I mess up in life and relationships- I AM NOT THAT BAD! (SHE WAS AND IS A HOT MESS!! RAY J was the best? Come on girl.) "The Coldest Winter Ever" is just a great read. I am trying to read "The Audacity of Hope" by Barack Obama (President Obama). I like autobiographies and history books as long as there is a message. I like black authors, especially Omar Tyree, Mary Monroe, and Zane (but you gotta have your mind right to read her books).
Heroes
Mary Bell Maxwell (my grandmother) was the strongest, most genuine person I have ever known. My mom, Catherine Maxwell, is a close 2nd. These two women are amazing. I just want to be half the woman they are- I would be very proud of that. I look up to those who intend to change the world. I am loving Barack Obama right now. He is amazing.
...and, unlike his haters, he is very REAL.....
I'm also feeling people of other races who have the courage to call a spade a spade even when "conseratives" (for lack of a better word) like Hannity, Limbaugh, Coulter and Scarbrough (come on, you watch political tv don't you?) are acting like QUEENS...
