Amazing Grace is gonna walk all over you. view more
My name's Ingrid Elizabeth, but you may call me Amazing Grace...I rope and ride the highways all over this godforsaken country in search of entropy, dashboard ornaments, and the perfect chai soy latte. I've also been known to shamelessly croon at the moon with my songwriting sweetheart, Coyote Joe, while fingering the curviest long-necked brunette in the land -- a four-stringed heffer named Bessie. Together, we are troubadors cavorting under the name COYOTE GRACE.
Former notorious affiliations include the Suavest Stringband in the Land, CAPTAIN GRAVEL, as well as the feminist-owned and run sex shoppe, BABELAND. While docked in the Great Northwest, I was also the ringleader of a queer heathen Vaudeville revue called "THE AMAZING GRACE REVIVAL: A Night of Gay Oddities and Odd Gaieties". I fancy myself a multi-media artist--stirring up a concoction of folk music, burlesque, spoken word, vegetarian cooking, nature/food/pervy photography, afrobellyhippiehop dance, with a touch of "strike a pose" vogue-ing for money...all for your entertainment. Basically, if there had been a spotlight in the operating room, it would've been pointed at my mom's cooch. I was born to be on stage.
Off stage, I am just a soul-singin, dildo-slingin, fruit-pickin, knife-lickin, shot-snappin, booty-shakin, love-makin, copper curls, boots-n-pearls downhome Dirty Ole Femme trapped in a young vixen body (it's tough, i know). I have a serious weakness for soft bread, sweet treats, vintage nighties, soy in all its glorious forms, funky hats, ketchup, and boylike things of the XX variety.
Stay tuned for more adventures from the Yummiest Firebush west of the mighty Mississippi...
Who I'd like to meet: Folks I Know (sounds weird, huh?)...basically, if I don't know you from some past or current life, I won't add you as my friend. Sorry, Strangers---that's just the way this sugar cookie crumbles.
Hey there ingrid :) well, my visit to the massage school was awesome, but the music school was not so hot. not very fiscally sound for sure. I've actually been questioning my location for next year. i'm thinkin' maybe sac for a bit to get some stability and money saved up before i head on out to sonoma. i'm also realizing that i'm finally feeling close to these guys i've known for 4 years. There's a part of me that i wasn't able to share or let grow until i started to really feel good about my body and myself....over the last 6 months. i want to spend time with these folks and really just enjoy their presence in my life before i start setting out to greener pastures. bummer cause i won't be able to hang with you as much, but ok because it's what feels good right now. kinda like forest with olive and permaculture. i'm realizing the timing may not be right and i actually have to show some patience to eventually, not ASAP, get what i want. anyway, we should DEFinitely hang in the next couple weeks. tomorrow's my last day of work so i'll be free.
Hey Girl!!! Aww I miss ya! As of now, I am going down to Redmond today, for training that starts tomorow! Fingers crossed they offer me a position. Then I'll be back in PDX in a week to help Kelly with the house search if she hasn't already found a home sweet homo. Last night was so much fun we hung out with Tre and Sumr and had a slumber party! I hope life in good and sunny sonoma is being kind to you! I'll give you a call after training!@@@ Love you!!!! -Your Sister/Bro
I'm trying to not let the travel withdrawal hit too hard. We drove into Oregon yesterday- then in denial that we're actually back- we ended up camping just about 40 miles from Hood River- we could have gone all the way to Portland if we wanted to- but we didnt. What world do i belong in? Sometimes i wish my feet/my wheels could never stop. I"m going to be crazy job searching this week- i went to the storage unit to get all my "nice" interviewing clothes- I"m not lookign forward to it.
We'll be hugging Bree, Meagan, Tre and Summer tonight and tomorrow and everyday after that. Wish we could be hugging you! Soon soon... You guys are coming through pdx right? do you need any help? I'm your crosscuntry street team!
much love always
Oh how I miss you already, but I do have good news... You have inspired a new tattoo that will be going on my right arm. That is once I draw it, get it redrawn by my tattoo artist Mr. McKee, and save up the $$ for it. It's inspired from your latest and greatest song. Thanks!!!! Miss you. Love You!
Tori and I were so sad when you left. We wanted to call you last night to sing us to sleep- but we went to sleep at 8pm so you were probably in the middle of a gig. I love you so much. it was so amazingly wonderful and i want you in my life more often! Have a great tour! see you in April!
Wow, haven't talked to you in far too long! Thanks for the text from my home town :) Hope you enjoyed the coast and are having fun out on the road. I'd love to catch up sometime sooooon.
We're so very excited to see you guys on the 8th! We landed yesterday at an animal rescue (mostly chickens actually) just outside of Flagstaff but really close. We've been listening up on the Harvey Tour tons and the excited giggles are gettign louder every day!
