I'm the editor of Weekly Surge, an alt-weekly in Myrtle Beach, S.C. (Check out our myspace page).
I live in nearby Surfside Beach with my lovely wife, Kim, and beautiful baby daughter, Ava.
I have lived on the Grand Strand since June 2001, but hail from the Atlanta, Ga. area.
I love going out and doing things and meeting people - eating at local restaurants, going to area festivals, checking out live music, etc. It gets harder to do this stuff with a baby, but it's not impossible.
I love the beach, too, but we rarely go anymore - a sad fact of daily living (and having to work) at the beach.
I also dabble in songwriting (with more than 100 tunes under my belt) - so if anybody out there needs some songs on commission, let me know and maybe we can work something ($$) out.
