I grew up bilingual (English/German). Two years of basic French in secondary school. Literally starting from scratch, I spent one month at a Spanish language School in Cuernavaca/Mexico in ’96 and lived with a Mexican family for the time being. Then one year of intermediate Spanish at Inlingua Language School in Karlsruhe. SPORTS, MUSIC AND OTHER ACTIVITIES I played Quarterback position for two years with the Badener Greifs American Football Team. I am a certified Rescue Diver with the PADI Association, where I was trained on first response/CPR skills. Now I’m looking forward to complete the few remaining dives to receive a Master Scuba Diver status. Beyond this I passionately love to go skiing or snowboarding, play Tennis, Squash, and not so passionately run on a regular basis. With the EnBW-Curling Team we were last years Vice-Champions of the all German Business league Finals in Villingen-Schwenningen. For five years I worked part time as a Personal Coach in a local Gym. Additionally I took up traditional Taekwon-Do, attending several self defense and Referee Workshops and participating in a special Martial Arts/Meditation Program in Seoul/Korea with renowned Teacher Kwak, Kum-Sik 9th Dan, who has been a supervisor for the introduction of Taekwon-Do as an Olympic-sport. 1999 I attained the 1st Dan (Black Belt) in Taekwon-Do. During the preparation for the 2nd Dan I was injured, so I’m still working on what will be my final goal for the sport. Nearly three years ago I helped to build up my wife’s Business (…don’t laugh  ) a so-called Vibration Studio, where I work out on regular basis, and take care of all the marketing issues and promotions. The training concept is based on our very own ideas and designs, which we have successfully turned into a registered trademark. Here for I also have a certification stating my qualification as a Coach for Whole Body Vibration Workout and Sports Rehabilitation. Projects we support are: Geschenke der Hoffnung (Christmas Gifts packed in shoeboxes which will be sent to orphanages in third world countries) this organization operates worldwide, so please feel free to find out about it in your home countries. We also support Rosa, a Dominican mother of five kids personally each time we travel to the Island with small amounts of money donations, toys, clothes, school uniforms (If you’re interested, maybe someday I’ll get around to show you some video images) Most recently we decided to switch from our local electricity supplier to www.naturenergie.de (a sub company of the EnBW), to promote a Co2 neutral way of workout to our customers, even if this will raise our operating costs drastically, we are very dedicated to our very own carbon pledge and currently think about buying a liquid gas powered vehicle or a hybrid. Music Experiences: Since the Age of sixteen I discovered my love for music and pursued a career in music business. I’m a songwriter, played guitar in several bands and since the time locally released 4 CD’s. In my active days I was co-founder of the Jingle Bells Records Label and Sky For Keep Prod. Music Publishing. Releasing 3 CD’s of other local bands and promoting them and representing the company on various music fairs. Just until recently I acted as a writer for song-lyrics and played some guitar lines for other peoples recordings. Still today I continue to write songs and occasionally play live for family and friends. Because of my language skills I was often asked to do interviews for a nationwide selling Rock Magazine called “Rock Hard” with Artists like Bon Jovi, Nickleback and others… I also did a lot of backstage work, whenever there were bigger Pop/Rock Concert Events in Karlsruhe, being a personal assistant to more or less famous celebrities and one-hit wonders. Due to my knowledge of Martial Arts, I sometimes was asked to do front end security work at local concert events for Artists like Lenny Kravitz and others.
