Raised in Nashville, Tennessee, the capital of Country Music, Amber Digby is one of the most refreshing country singers in the first decade of the new century. She recorded her first album "Music from the Honky Tonks" in 2002. It received much attention from all over the world, selling worldwide and creating an overwhelming base of fans. For the last two years, her first CD, "Music from the Honky Tonks", and her second project “Here Come The Teardrops” have been at the top of numerous charts on the radio and internet broadcast stations.
Songs off her CDs are favorites among the DJs and listening audience who tune in to XM channel 13, “Willie’s Place”. When Amber visited the XM studios, Willie Nelson personally called to thank her for being a part of “Willies Place”, and for carrying on the tradition of true country music.
The popularity of her first album resulted in several tours abroad: she performed at the Furuvik Country Festival in Sweden, toured Australia, playing in Melbourne, Sydney, New South Wales and Brisbane. After returning to the US, she performed in Tulsa, Nashville and Forth Worth.
In summer of 2006, Amber signed with Heart of Texas Records (based in Brady, TX) and released her second CD, "Here Come the Teardrops", sending her back for another European tour, to Sweden and Norway. Digby just returned from a trip to France where she headlined her own shows and worked with John Schneider (of Dukes of Hazard fame).
By the readers of the Scandinavian magazine, “Kounty Korall”, she was recently voted “Female Artist of The Year”, along with her project, “Here Come The Teardrops”, being voted “International Album Of The Year”. Amber was also nominated for “Pure Country Female Vocalist” in 2006 by the Academy of Western Artists and won the award in 2008.

Her latest project, “Passion, Pride and What Might Have Been”, was recently released, and is already receiving rave reviews. The project features her band members and debuts Digby’s talents as a producer, where she co-produced with Justin Trevino.
Although her success seems to have sprung out overnight, it is not so. Digby came from a musical family. Both her parents have been in country music for decades: her mother Dee was a harmony singer with Connie Smith, and her father Dennis Digby played bass for Loretta Lynn for almost twenty years. Her uncle is legendary entertainer Darrell McCall. Her step-father, Dicky Overbey, is considered a steel guitar legend and played with the likes of Faron Young, Connie Smith, Hank Williams, Jr., Ronnie Milsap, Johnny Bush, and currently plays with Amber. In this musical family, the young Amber literally grew up on stage. Being a born entertainer, she began realizing her dreams already at the age of three.
Digby’s songs overflow with heartache, misery, cheating lovers, sorrow, regret and resignation. She makes you believe that she has lived the life of heartache, lost love and has the need for the ever present drink. Amber Digby is truly one of the brightest new stars in country music and has established herself a place among the best.
