Acting, reading, writing, belly dancing, ghost hunting, the paranormal of any kind, movies, nature, animals, painting, learning, teaching, sewing, hand wire wrapped jewelry, making candles, incense and other crafts, anything creative. Renaissance Faire - I dance with Tribe Roman Morga and Myths and Legends Dance. Everything Native American. I'm currently researching my heritage. I'm part Cherokee and something else. Finding out what that "something else" is has turned out to be quite a task. I have a soap fetish. I LOVE handmade soaps and body stuffs.
Tribe Roman Morga
NOT my best performance but here are two clips from a show I did several years ago. Video by ChazJaz Productions. For clips of other dancers from that night go to You Tube and search for ChazJazProd.
I prefer the alternative style and it's surrounding genres. I can't stand country and western or gospel music. None too fond of rap either. I gets on my nerves. I love Middle Eastern music. Especially the newer style of funky / hip hop-ish fusion grooves. It's great to dance to. I LOVE Flamenco and Flamenco / Arab mix beats.
Movies
These are the movies I watch over and over again. Elizabeth, Rob Roy, Pride & Prejudice (A & E), Sense & Sensibility, Emma (w/Kate Beckinsale), Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, An Ideal Husband, Gone With the Wind, Sleepless in Seattle, Return To Me, Pulp Fiction, Twister, Betelguese, Schindler's List, Dogma, Somewhere in Time, Willow, Bram Stoker's "Dracula", L.O.T.R. trio, P.O.T.C., Harry Potter movies, The Princess Bride, The Love Letter (with Jennifer Jason Leigh and Campbell Scott), The Others, Bridget Jone's Diary, Star Wars 4,5 & 6, Desperado, Chicago, The Fifth Element, Underworld I & II, Orlando, MidSomer Murder series, Serenity, Darby O'Gill and the Little People, The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns, Narnia and Prince Caspian, Hogfather, Dances with Wolves. There are more but this is good enough.
Television
Re-runs mostly / the new shows are pretty much crap. The news never tells you the truth. Criminal Minds, The Closer, Bones, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Ellen DeGeneres (she's hilarious - love her), Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State sometimes, Animal Planet, Lifetime, Discovery Chanel, History Chanel, forensic science shows, Cold Case Files, The First 48, They canceled Firefly (those bastards).
Books
The Mists of Avalon (I've read it three times - the movie was crap), everything by Jane Austin and Terry Pratchett. Wayne W. Dyer is quite enlightening. I like self analysis books. The kind that require you to take a deep look within yourself in order to find answers or change. Any book that will teach me something (provided I am interested in the subject). I like well written fiction and fiction that seems more like non-fiction. I can't stand cheezy romance novels. I like some mystery, a little sci-fi, a good horror novel once in while. Currently reading "Ask and it is Given", "Short Cut to a Miracle", You'll See It When You Believe It", "Bourne Legacy" and "The Burning Times". I recently finished "Keys To the Kingdom", "Haunted Ground", "The Ghost", "The Secret Supper", "The Game of Life and How to Play It", and about 5 other books. I don't update myspace often enough to keep this accurate.
Heroes
My maternal Great-Grandmother and Grandmother. They taught me the skills to become the person I am today. They gave me the encouragement to become the person I aspire to be.

Gemini - What else needs to be said??????
Tsi Tsalagi (I am Cherokee). I'm caring, compassionate and empathetic yet ruthless when necessary. I am a very passionate person regarding many issues which some people tend to take as anger. When I'm angry, I'll tell you, and exactly why. Other than that, it's just my passionate nature. I have a sarcastic sense of humor. I'm not a "party" girl and DO NOT use drugs. I belly dance, for 15 years now, and LOVE to go out dancing. I'm very creative. I write, have a VERY vivid imagination, read tarot cards, and am rather eclectic in most aspects of my life. I consider myself as open minded but also have definite set ideas on certain issues. I'm currently working on an acting career. It's a dificult industry but I'm hopeful. I am quite reclusive but when I do go out I socialize well. Also, I am a minister, available for Handfastings and Weddings (gender unimportant). I am heterosexual but have no ridiculous qualms about/toward those with other sexual preferences.
I do faux finishes and murals also. I love to paint. Anything creative, that's me!
My brother wrote these poems for me.
at the beginning of an age,
when the fragrance of rose and sage
met with beauty and ignited a flame
a special gift to a world never to be the same
a flame born of glory and of grace
a blessing of power given to her race
as she walks barefoot across the fields
my soul is blessed by the miracles they yield
as each toes digs into the heart of mother
flowers spring up in the life of her brother
she is pure fire, pure intent, pure soul
the touch of her feathers makes me whole
in the circle located between heaven and earth
the music of her soul sounds in the night
as her bare feet dance to mother's heartbeat
she is the fire lighting up the night sky
like a million stars outshining the moon
she is the pride of her people and their very heart
her bare footsteps dance within our spirit
she is pure medicine and gracious strength
the eternal Native beauty in her lovely eyes
she is atsila

Lady of Red
the beautiful red tones of her flesh
the delicate tones of her red soul
coming alive with the drumbeat of life
the drumbeat of their hearts awakened
as her feet step around the circle in rhythm
the moon, the sun, the earth align
an eclipse of the pain of the past
she is our healing and our completion
lady spirit, a blessing within our circle
she is the movement of the earth in dance
the dance of two stars in the night
a recollection of when she gave us our birth
and our hearts hold her beauty inside
the beautiful red tones of her flesh
she is an eternal force of grace and glory
Who I'd like to meet: Open minded, non-judgmental conversationalists. Intellectuals - people who think of topics worth talking about. Honest people, I can smell bull$*! all the way from China. Dancers (or those who just like to go out dancing), writers, crafty people, interesting and fun to be around or to talk with. Poets, musicians, basically creative people and/or those with similar interests. People I can learn from and teach. People who have something of value to teach and want to learn.
Hey Amber, those belly dancing clips of you are really cool!! When was that film taken? Your very talented;) I know you've invited me in the past when you were performing but please give me the heads up when you are performing in the future. Talk soon, hugs, Joe
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4
