In Septmeber of 2005 four friends came together to form the band
Amber Means Go (<------Thats Shep writing that)

Andrew Poole-Bass Guitar
Jonathan Rumming-Drums,Percussion
It was well before this time Adam and Shep had started writing new material with the intention of playing it in a new band. Even though other names were mentioned, the job of bass player was always going to be given to Andrew Poole a long time friend of both Adam and Shep as well as devoted followee of First Encounter. Many people were suggested as the drummer for the new band but non really seemed to fit untill Shep started speaking about the project with friend Jonathan Rumming someone he had played with in the past. Jono was looking for a band and shared the same intrests and humour as everyone else and so was offered the place of drummer.
Over the next two months the band churned out really good songs at the rate of one a practice. When they reached the 7 song mark the band felt ready to book a gig and where else to debut than 'the Shed'.
On the 15th November 2005 Amber Means Go hit the stage in front of just under 100 fans. In the few months since then Amber Means Go have played at the awsome club Original 4 in Leicester as well as at the Home of the band Groby College.
