THE AMBER ROSE GUITAR DUO were drawn together through their
talents as arrangers, composers and teachers of the guitar.
Few could claim the ability to play, compose and arrange in one style, yet this pair know no limits when it comes to the art of arranging in any genre and also have many published compositions to their credit.-
THE AMBER ROSE GUITAR DUO seek to break down any musical barriers between the various musical styles that sometimes exist. Martin and Steve however are just geting on with‘ The Party of Life’ - and enjoying it.
The guitars played on the recordings are by Peter Barton, Luthier of Addingham, Ilkley in Yorkshire. As the duo are also from Yorkshire they are particularly proud to be associated with Peter’s work and are of the opinion that he produces some of the finest quality instruments available in the World today.

Pick on Classical?, if my old Flamenco teacher knew that he wouldn't approve too much :D... Then came Strunzs and Farrah!!!A ctually I did that years ago, even putting metal on the first 2 srtrings of my Ramírez. Interesting results. Looking forward to hear your new experiments. I'm having problems with my nails, so no classical for a while. (Though I read Tárrega didn't use nails...how can you play "Recuerdos..." without nails?) Today I try a new drummer with my electric trio. He's excellent, moving a step up I guess...but patience is necessary while he learns the material. Saludos, Antonio
