ambersound is the creation of Amber Hansen who was born in Brisbane, Australia in 1978. She is a musician, sound artist, composer, middle eastern dancer, teacher, performance artist, experimental inventor all while developing her skills in choreography, performance production, photography and film making. She is strongly influenced by her own cultural heritage which bridges the Middle East, Asia and Europe.
ambersound aims to create a natural fusion of oriental and electro/acoustic elements and works to creates music that is powerful, stimulating, hypnotic, challenging and beautiful.
After a long creative interlude in the London underground and a brief vacation from the world, ambersound has relocated back to Australia for the moment to develop new works as well as renew old recordings and performances. Stay tuned for some new ambersound coming soon........yes very soon :)

I am playing with surround sound at the moment. So I guess If I did put up stuff it would have to be bounced down as stereo for the myspace player. Well the stuff I've been messing around with anyway.
Shame your not over this year because it would have been cool for you to come over and check out the surround set-up. I think with your works it would especially be interesting if we converted some of the logic files into 5.1. :)
Likewise we would very much enjoy having you as a guest at one of our sets. Our next gig is on Monday night at ACMI, for the Mexican Film Festival launch party. Will be last live gig for a few weeks at least...
