Ambidextrous Octopus! began in 2006 as an experiment in talent and friendship. Both Geoff and Josh started collaborating riffs and skill in a Theatre Room on Summerdale and Josh's garage. Which spawned their first song called 'Pillage and Plunder' in the summer of '06. Continuing on they wrote the likes of 'Bob's Bitch Tits', followed by 'Ubiquitous', one of their more experimental songs. (THEN CAME THE CAT)
Winter '07 was indeed a slap in the face. Song 4, currently named 'Great Jaunting Gyrations', was one hell of a process to write. Writers block is real.
...Practicing in Geoffs basement to this very day... Song writing has been ten fold more natural. 'Decadent and Depraved' to 'A Cancer to the Enviornment' came swift and vibrant during the spring months of '07. Thus bringing the oppurtunity to play shows for their AWSOME fans.
(THEN THE CAT DIED -- RiP) Until finally Jordan Capistrano, former guitarist of local band 'In August' joined in early July 08, and then quit in Jan 09.

How are you? What's the latest in your life? We're playing in NY this week on The White Tie Affair tour. On Tuesday, we are in NYC at The Highline Ballroom. On Thursday, we are playing The Chance in Poughkeepsie. Also on October 26th we're playing a 21+ acoustic show at Angels and Kings in NYC. Do you gonna our gonna make it out to a show?
hey! we are trying to change something... our new singer erik can't be a full member of dreamscape because the stess to travel a lot is affecting his health. so we decided to work with more than one singer - honestly we will work with even more than two... hopefully you will like that idea! we like it a lot because we will be very flexible and our sound will become even more complex! kind regards!
