Big news -
AG has been down and out of the spotlight since Mach of 2008. Over the past couple of years the members of this band have done a lot of growing up. Some of us now are married and have full time jobs. Some of us our now awesome dads. Unfortunately, some of us have also grown apart.
With in the past year itself, we have been writing slowly, but surely, some of the best material we as a band have written to date. We have even recently begun work on the next album in the AG lineup this November. Unfortunately as of November 21, 09, our long time Bass Player, Jared Park, resigned from Ambient Green. To most who read this, it will probably not come as a great deal of care or consequence, but to us and our closest friends and fans, it will matter.
Jared is currently tackling the task as a Bass player in two other projects, all of which are musicians of very high caliber. Nothing Fits from Bloomington is a very lucky band to have received Jared's talents and we wish them the best of luck. We have had a lot of great memories working with Jared and we will definitely miss working with him. I think that it goes without saying that Jared was an integral part of this group and the shoes that need to be filled are not small.
With that being said, we are very excited about the new material and had a great time launching the recording of the new album. This will be a crucial turning point that will hopefully open up some new avenues to AG. We will however begin looking for a replacement Bassist immediately and hopefully have the album out in the first quarter of this new year.
