The members of Ambient have performed together for years at local churches. James, Walt and Andy have been playing instruments all their lives and the love for music has continued to grow. Recently, Mike Burrell and Eric Jackson, both great sax players, brought their unique talent to the group. Together they have taken Ambient to "the next level"!
Since Ambient has been together they've had the honor of being the opening guest band for legendary R&B artist Dionne Warwick in 2006. Ambient was the winner of the ICC RiverCity Soul Fest Idol Contest in 2007. We continue striving to be the best we can be and deliver stellar performances where ever we go. Ambient also opened for Peabo Bryson at the 2009 Black and White Gala in Peoria, IL. Continue to check us out for new and exciting information about Ambient.

I've since moved to Atlanta and trying to hook up with some good players like you guys, but its just tough finding people as good as you guys!
