Biography of Ambrosia Kelley
Ambrosia Kelley was born on October 4, 1995. She is a sweet, smart, kind and very talented thirteen year old. Since the tender age of three and a half, Ambrosia showed interest in acting, singing & dancing. While in her hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas in September 1999, she was scouted by a local Agency. Her family brought her to HOLLYWOOD in January 2000 to compete in IMTA (International Model & Talent Association), and in February 2000, made the move to LA.
Ambrosia has been BLESSED to work with some of the most talented Actors in Hollywood! She worked with one of her Idols, Jennifer Lopez, and was choreographed by Darrin Henson, at The 28TH Annual American Music Awards. She was a Runway Model for The Macy’s Passport Fashion Show, which was MC’d by Magic Johnson and Elizabeth Taylor. In that Fashion Show, she worked with Will Smith’s son, Trey.
Ambrosia worked on a K-Mart Commercial that was directed by Spike Lee. She Co-Starred in a Public Service Announcement (PSA) for the Literacy Council with Lucy Lui, Pierce Brosnan and Antonio Banderas. In 2007 she worked on another PSA, this time she worked with Masi Oka from the Hit TV Show “Heroes”. She also worked on a Danimals Commercial with Dylan and Cole Sprouse from Disney’s “The Suite Life of Zach and Cody”.
Ambrosia has several Co-Star and Guest Star roles on Television hit shows, which include… “Popular”, “The Parkers”, “CSI Miami”, “Astronauts” (Pilot) , “MADTV”, “Half and Half”, and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in which she did a skit with Comedian Kathy Griffin. She also did a couple of voice-overs for Disney cartoons.
As for Feature Films, Her first was her most famous, “Kill Bill, Vol. 1” (Miramax), which she played the role of Nikki Bell, playing the daughter of Vivica A. Fox. Ambrosia also got a chance to work with Uma Thurman and was directed by one of the most talented Directors in Hollywood…Quentin Tarantino! And in 2007, she worked on a Feature Film called “This Christmas” (Sony Pictures). Ambrosia played the role of Tori Moore., playing the daughter of Regina King. Loretta Devine played her Grandmother and the Great Hip Hop Singer Sensation Chris Brown played her Uncle! Another great Director, Preston A. Whitmore II, directed this Film. Ambrosia just finished working on an Independent Feature Film called “Stacy’s Mom”. Fountain of Wayne bases this Film on the song by the same name, and is pending for two other Features with Director William A. Baker.
Ambrosia is also a Singer/Song Writer! With collaboration with Producer Gorden Campbell, Ambrosia wrote and recorded her first song “My Best Friend” at the age of eleven. Soon after she recorded “The Best of Me”, “Let Me C Ur Hand Clap” and the song “Apple Bottoms” which was inspired by the Feature Film she was working on at the time…”Stacy’s Mom”. She is still in the recording studio and has written and recorded nine songs to this day which are being mastered. Ambrosia’s voice is maturing as she grows older and her song writing skills are just getting better and better.
