Long long story Tom... too long to be condensed into a mere MySpace comment... unless I make the text size really small like this that is... yeah this is better! So how do I know all this you ask? Well essentially I am older and wiser than you, even if it doesn't seem it at times. But those times, my friend, are a simple test for you to evaluate your life an where you're at. And back in 1997 when Dr Pepper was introduced to the Australian market, I and my peers were busy drinking plain old Coke & Pepsi. But I remember vividly the first day I skulled a Dr Pepper. And the fact that Dr Pepper himself didn't go to medical school didn't worry me in the slightest, as I was happy enough to drink his beverage. That's the story anyway... um yeah not sure where exactly I was heading with that... but yeah did you end up getting sum Peppa? & did you send me the DVDs? Kool as... peace!
Dr Pepper was introduced to the Australian market in 1997 with a short-lived TV advertising campaign and low priced 280 ml cans sold through supermarkets. Dr Pepper was subsequently sold in 1.25 litre plastic bottles alongside other major brands until 2003. Cadbury Schweppes stated that the product did not gain acceptance by Australians, whose detractors complained that the drink tasted like "cough syrup". Although not locally bottled in Australia or New Zealand Dr Pepper is imported by USAFoods, an all American grocery importer located in Melbourne, Australia.
