| General | My interests are pretty varied (I have a short attention span), but I'll try to keep it simple. I like what anyone else likes, movies, music, books, art. . . When it comes to movies though, my interest is boarderline obsession. Also I do love to read, alot. I didn't just throw that in the list to keep from sounding like an audio-visual geek. Which I am. I'm also an artist, in the traditional sense, drawing, painting and the like. I like egyptology, the goth and raver subcultures, reptiles, renniasance faires, classic monsters with modern twists, and pretty much any style of art. That covers the basics, anyhow. | | Music | I love all types of music, but Nu Metal, Goth Rock, Techno, and lost of Classic Rock. | | Movies | I love movies, so of course I can't choose one, but I'll see if I can come up with a few in each genre worth mentioning. Horror: Ginger Snaps, The Ring. Drama: Charms For The Easy Life, Life As A House. Action: V for Vendetta, Inside Man. Comedy: Captain Ron, Monty Python & the Holy Grail. Sci-Fi: The Village, Pitch Black. Indies: Gypsy 83, Juno. | | Television | I'll just make a list: Pretender, Heroes, Slings & Arrows, CSI, Nip/Tuck, Dark Angel, Highlander, Roswell, Alias, Smallville, The OC, Forever Knight, M*A*S*H, Scrubs, Friends, Supernatural, Xena, StarTrek: The Next Generation, Enterprise. . . I'm sure there are more, but those are the biggies. | | Books | My friend Admira has been getting me into manga/anime comics, but mostly I like Dean Koontz (I haven't read a book of his I didn't like), the Harry Potter series (who doesn't love them?), Kushiel's Legacy (A trilogy by Jaqueline Carey), the Dragon Temple Saga (A trilogy by Janine Cross). I also read alot of random books, memoirs, self-help, classics, anything that catches my eye, or is reccomended by people whose opinion I trust. I love Francis Hodgeson Burnett, for example. I also read alot of gothic/punky comics, like Nightmares & Fairytales. | | Heroes | No heroes, no idols, just pure inner strength. |
