This group features the former backing band of HR from Bad Brains, and they recently debuted their first album OBLIQUITY, now available digitally globally. The band has opened for legendary greats including Pato Banton & The Mystic Roots Band in Mendocino County, Barrington Levy and Don Carlos at Soho in Santa Barbara, and Yellowman at Ventura Theater in Ventura, CA, just to name a few. With a cross background in funk, jazz, electronica and dub/reggae, Amee Jana's music career started in Boston & New York in 1995. Amee Jana, a Syracuse University graduate, has not only sold-out countless shows, co-produced three full lengths albums, and worked successfully in many different genres of music; she also has a passion for developing new artists, and has successfully consulted with other artists as a booking agent, artist manager, and publicist. .... Recent successes have lead her working and performing with many other successful artists such as Prince, The “Legendary” Neville Brothers, Barrington Levy, The Scientist, Yellowman, Tippa Irie, Nadirah X, Alan Evans (Soulive), The Sam Kininger Band (Soulive, Lettuce), Grammy Nominated Los Amigos Invisibles, Norwood Fisher (Fishbone) and his masterpiece of funk - Trulio Disgracias, Delta Nove, Mystic Roots Band, Myka 9, House of Vibe, The Toledo Show, The Bomb Squad, Dieselboy, Gene Therapy, DJ Manolo, DJ MacGyver as well as many well-known nationally acclaimed producers. ....
