Amelia Danger destroy the ego..it does one no good. Posted 7 hours ago from Mobile view more
UPDATE! UPDATE! I am no longer living and working out of NYC and have also decided to cease doing live performance of burlesque in order to pursue some other goals. Currently I am in St. Augustine, FL...a sunny, warm ancient and pastoral place where I am thinking more clearly. Here, I am getting back to the roots of dance stylistics, working on some other artistic projects (performance and otherwise) and planting the seeds to open my own dance/theater production and training studio. Oh, but if you're a first timer to my site you'll wanna read this:
Take a classically trained ballerina and put her up against four years experience in entertainment and you have the rare performance stylings of Amelia Danger. An etherial, coquettish beauty, with an almost illegal sensibility for eroticism, she makes for a new brand of burlesque; one that embodies the charm of a bygone era and one that gives a flirtatious wink the most debaucherous performance art of all time. An inner-city engenieu, as she is often referred, was reared on the stage from the tender age of seven and made a graceful if not ironic transition into adult entertainment. Beware folks, she is a sex positive performer. This means that she is not afraid to expose sexual conventions, prejudices, derivations, or nudity in her performance and she does it all with an insoucience, ease, and sardonic sense of humor that lets you know, she doesn't take herself or society too seriously. A diverse dance practitioner, She has performed at some of New York's most reknowned theaters and Opera Houses, Broadway, and Off Broadway, but finds no conflict in gracing the stages of NYC's seedy underbelly as well! As a burlesque performance artist, she has performed live at Corio Supper Club, Webster Hall,The Copacabana, The Highline Ballroom, Pacha, Le Scandel Cabaret. and The Box. She has also toured with a variety of productions, participated in two major arts festivals. She also makes regular appearances at a host of PR events and has entertained top clients inclusive of Marc Jacobs and Gwyneth Paltrow. She is currently also the spokesmodel/performer for the upscale Lingerie boutique, Kiki De Montparnasse.
Amelia has had a career in film and mainstream television as well. She is starring in an independent film to be released this summer; director Guy Maddin's (Saddest Mus ic In the World) "Misfortunes" and is one of the regular fetching cigarette girls on TLC's "Fashionably Late with Stacy London". She has appeared on the Independent Film Channel in Jetefilm Entertainments 2007 Western "Shroud" and starred in the video "Lady" for the band Modjo for MTV Europe.
Cabaret comedian Bastard Keith calls Amelia " Amazing, like Audrey Hepburn in tassels" and Go magazine calls her "a must see, a bouquet of beauty!"
BE NO STRANGER TO THE DANGER! come see her live or book her for your special event today. For all requests, contact Perry at Icarian Productions at noved113@yahoo.com

#5 BOYS
"We were the Spice Boys." ~ G.H.
"All the world is Birthday cake, so take a piece, but not too much." ~ G.H.
"Love one another." ~ george harrison
George was my ultimate favorite....I still treasure my bobble-head!
Although I used to mimic John, when they flashed his marital status
across the TV screen
during the Beatles' 1st Ed Sullivan appearance,
I immediately transferred my crush to George.
He was quiet & cool, and I found his crooked smile most beguiling!
Who has been your favorite?
