I have been singing since I can remember. I was raised by a professional songwriter and found myself drawn to the Irish folk style known as Sean Nos. For over 20 years I have practiced and performed with the goal of bringing an authentic and compelling experience of beauty and emotion to those around me.
My most recent professional music project was the production of two albums with the celtic band "Sheltering Sky." In 2005, we completed Keeping Watch Upon The Stars. In 2006 we finished A Long Night's Journey, produced by Grammy award-winning musician William Coulter.
While the the band Sheltering Sky is now defunct, you can still find awesome Irish music in the Bay area through the three individual musicians; myself, Amelia Hogan as vocalist, Angeline LeLeux as fiddler and back up vocalist, and William Bajzeck as fantastic guitarist and prodigy of irish flute.
