great site great music thanks for your friendship, check out the hoolahan slide on our video..s you will love this
many great slide players from Lenny Hogan to the late great Rory Gallagher strived to have a slide that allowed them to get that slide finger onto the fret board .The short slide as seen here http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=7CZNuTeq9hs was the closest working slide Rory found but it was still difficult even for Rory . I had the same problem trying to work out playing the slide intro to Dont Start Me Talkin and getting to that four fingered chord until I realized if I cut one side from the top of the slide i could get the tip of my finger on to the boards then I realized why stop with the top and cut the other side away too , that was the day a star was born The Hoolahan Slide .
