Iniciou suas atividades no ano de 2002. A banda mossoroense já passou por várias modificações em sua formação, as quais foram responsáveis por consideráveis mudanças tanto em sua ideologia quanto musicalidade.
Contando hoje com Geffson Freire(guitar/voz) e Jaime Ortiz(guitarsolo/voz), Max Mello (bass), Kleo Tony (drums), a banda atualmente se encontra preparando se para entrar em estúdio e gravar sua segunda demo To Die for Myself apos de Uno Cerne (2006).
A AMENKHARIS vem fazendo um estilo musical denominado Doom/Gothic metal. Criando um som de peso e agressividade com a melodia e atmosfera das influencias do rock gótico dos anos 80, apresenta letras cheias de melancolias e a natureza humana. Se destacando com guitarras de bases agressivas e temas melódicos, na bateria precisa, além dos vocais que variam entre agressivos e limpos.
AMENKHARIS starts their activities in 2002. It is a Gothic/Doom Metal band style, filled by anger, heavy and dense atmosphere influenced by some Gothic Rock band from 80s. The lyrics talks about melancholy and the human nature. Agressive guitar riffs and melodic songs are the caracteristics, always spiced with a precise percussion and clean and power vocals.
