Brawny riffs and dextrous dual harmonies flex over an aggressive percussive attitude, whilst vocals spit vehemence in the face of many of their less than formidable peers. ‘Under The Dying Sun’ certainly lays firm foundations and there is no doubt that in a couple of years Amenti could be flying high. Terrorizer 8/10
Under The Dying Sun is stacked with chugging riffs and note perfect dual harmonies. If Amenti can push on from here, we could be in for a hell of a treat by time album two rolls around! Kerrang! KKK
Amenti have certainly got themselfs into a solid position with this debut. Maiden-style guitar underpins 'Scorched Earth Tactics' whilst the epic feel of both 'Nibiru' and 'Mother Terra' prove that a bit of imagination never hurt anyone. Metal Hammer 7/10
This is the kind of record that makes me genuinely excited about catching a live show. Zero Tolerance 4/5
You know, given what Amenti have delivered with ‘Under The Dying Sun’, I reckon that the UK could be a contender in this global thrash revival, and I reckon that Amenti could easily be at the forefront of it. Mark my words, these chaps will go far as long as they keep thrashing hard… Subba-Culture 5/5

Amenti carry a timeless message with them that spans the course of generations of pain fueled by the hell we live in. Lyrically and emotionally Amenti convey a message that is much older than their tender years. Theirs is the music of war, Nihilistic, Anarchistic and yet always infused with messages of hope, Amenti portray a vision of a world torn apart by greed, jealousy and human nature, and yet a world that can be regained, if we sit up and take notice.
Live Amenti take on another form entirely with a stage show based around their apocalyptic visions and unique mindset. Amenti live show is a lesson in power, intensity, and revolution, this is not a band you should miss.
2007 saw Amenti release there first album titled 'Under The Dying Sun'. Originally scheduled for release under Hangmans Joke Records, however tragically before the album could be released founder of Hangmans Joke Records passed away after taking his own life. Deeply saddended by this turn of events and with the album behind the release schedule Amenti self funded the printing and promotion of the album rather then trying to find another label on such short notice. Under The Dying Sun was then released on 31/10/07. In September 07 Amenti were hand picked to play on The Flaming Arts Festival, the first ever touring festival to tour through Russia and neighboring country Belarus. The lineup included Polish Death Metallers Vader Greek Metallers Rotting Christ, as well as Krisiun, Incantation and Italian band Riul Doamnei. This was Amenti's first ever tour. Soon after Amenti played main stage 'Defenders of the Faith' at Metal Hammers Hard Rock Hell Festival sharing the stage with Cradle of Filth, My Dying Bride and Chthonic, with Twisted Sister and Saxon playing the Classic Rock Stage. 2007 ended with a boom after touring with UK Thrash Legends Onslaught and German Thrash Legends Destruction.
After a very successful year Amenti are now looking to 2008 with stronger determination, with the second album being written and more tours coming up Amenti are a band to watch out for.
LIVE REVIEWS:
"So much energy and power went into their show, it was truly immense. Stoke may not be known as the Thrash capital of the world but these guys are certainly a hot prospect for the future." Hardrockhouse.com
"Amenti were a breath of muscular, modern thrash-based air. With some exceedingly muscular riffing, their sheer wall of sound was enough to make even the most hardened of rivet heads to sit up and take notice. They are a band that are clearly destined to greater things." Live4metal.com
"The young thrash band from Stoke appear to be making more than a ripple in the sea of young unsigned metal bands plying their trade in the UK. They play a blistering incarnation of old school thrash, very in keeping with the mood of the evening. Very surprisingly, they were remarkably tight, stopping and starting on a dime." Metal-Rules.com
"Playing a mixture of old and new songs, Amenti kept the crowd on their toes throughout the set. The guys have a confident style that is insistent and rhythmic like a war drum. Amenti have been going from strength to strength on the local scene, perfecting a metal/thrash sound with a clear message and ethos about the damage done to the world by capitalism and war and the spark of hope that lies within everyone." sleepwalkersmagazine.com
Why the hell arnt you boys playing download! Ide very much like to see the pyramids rise from the ground as Amenti arive at donnington, though im sure the planes overhead would be full of rather confused pasengers as they saw a collosal Brick triagle rise from the ground all of a sudden, anyway, keep it up boys, shame your line up keeps changing =/.
