About me:
I've started this blog as an opportunity to keep in touch with family and friends and to share with them the experiences and adjustments as we prepare and move to Saudi Arabia.
About me...I'm a former diplomat who during my career met, fell in love and married Abdullah, a career Saudi diplomat. Since there was an obvious conflict-of-interest, upon our marriage I resigned from my position and am now the supportive wife!
I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to travel to more than 75 countries. I avidly enjoy international affairs, current affairs, politics and travel.
As of this writing we are in the midst of preparations to move from the Washington, DC area to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I'm eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to live in Abdullah's country and get to know his extended family much better.

Who I'd like to meet:
I most enjoy meeting ordinary people who strive to live each day to the fullest and know how to enjoy and appreciate life.
Now above being said, since my dear husband does bear a strong resemblence to George Clooney, I'd enjoy the chance to meet George Clooney and get a photo of him and my husband side-by-side.
