You’re looking for a studio that is relaxed and friendly, right? One that is licensed and inspected by the Dept. of Health? Are you looking for fair prices also? You don’t want to pay more for a tattoo because of where it’s located on your body, right? Well look no further, you’ve found your studio!
Since 1990 American Art Tattoo and Body Piercing has been serving the tri-state area and the University of Delaware proudly. American Art is about quality and service! You will find my prices VERY competitive for the experience and quality. Don’t be fooled by others offering a discount for students or other groups. My prices are at or lower without any gimmicks! Stop paying outrageous prices for a tattoo! My location keeps the cost down, so you save! I have a fine track record as one of the longest operating studios in business.
You’ll find I do not use a “Body Chart”. You wont get charged extra because of the area where you want your tattoo. One price placement-plain and simple! View my photo gallery and judge for yourself, then make the decision if my style of art is what you are looking for! Feel free to call if you have questions.
About David Scott and American Art Tattoo
In 1990 I completed my tattooing apprenticeship and opened American Art Tattoo. I graduated Art school in 1991 specializing in color theory. I completed my body piercing apprenticeship in 1994 under a well know piercer in Philadelphia.
My first shop was located on Maryland Ave. in Wilmington from 1990 to 1994. I moved to my current location in January 1995.
In 2004 I continued my advanced training at the nationally accredited Beau Institute in Mt. Laurel, NJ. I trained under Rose Marie Beauchemin, a highly respected pioneer and developer in the industry with over 30 years experience.
In January 2005 I received my Board Certification in Sterilization and Blood Born Pathogens Prevention and scored highest in my class. My Certification and training has enabled me to exceed the minimum State requirements in Sterilization and Apprenticeship allowing me to stand out from the rest in experience and knowledge since 1990.
