Planting The Seeds Of Revolution
"Awesome crusty, peace punk from New Lenox, IL. This demo has been stuck in my CD player for a month. This contains 8 tracks of well written lyrics containing anarchist themes such as capital punishment, vivisection, abortion, and much more. The vocalist seems very knowledgeable on the subjects mentioned. The guitar work and picking methods remind me a lot of THE SYSTEM mixed with early BALLAST. Vocally the only band that comes to mind to compare to is ALL SYSTEMS FAIL. They have awesome talking parts mixed with mid-tempo to fast drumming and awesome CONTRAVENE-style breakdowns. All in all this makes for a solid first release and you should check them out live if ever given the opportunity."
just a heads up - the mediafire link to the EP works fine, but the link to the demo leads to the same page (the EP archive). the correct link is http://www.mediafire.com/?bnimyzonjh3 (http://bit.ly/8AczLP) - as you can see, i am very bored. need more crust to make it through the winter!!!!
I believe I'm taking pictures tomorrow as long as I can fit my camera in my dino-bag. I'll give someone a call when I arrive at the destination so I can have an escort to the show!
