American Flag is a rock band formed in the Heartland of Michigan. In tradition of the artisan craft, they have carved out their own unique style while remaining within the boundaries of accessible sound. The band is best represented when playing in a live environment where the music is performed in the way it is intended to be played: live in front of an audience. American Flag is not a gimick, it has no pre-created image, it has no pre-conceived ideas of what things are or what they represent.
i have played there once with another band... and the show was a disaster... not only did we forget the bass guitar, but we got too belegerant to play... no bueno... but the show in may should be cool... they say we are playing with a good local band but im not sure who that would be... and sound is nice there but the only thing that blows is the stage is like 10ft by 10ft... not much room for moving around...
the orphanage is a great place... my personal favorite... the sound is amazing... the people are soo nice... the food is delicious... and they record you for free and give you a burnt cd at the end of your set... all and all its rad. the owner of that actually is the drummer from an old band with the owner of swing state so they are kind of run the same but the orphanage probs does a better job.
