Mr. Ryan has been the music correspondent/critic for Cablevisions News 12 Network since 1998, with bi-weekly appearances that cover both new releases and top selling albums. Additional airings for special events (such as award programs, concerts, etc.) are common. Ryan has also been a regularly scheduled guest on national televisions Fox News Network for entertainment and media-related issues, where he discusses music and movie news. He also makes appearances on their New York affiliate, Fox 5. Since the publication of American Hit Radio, numerous media appearances have taken place, including a stint on Tom Snyders Late Late Show and as a special guest on WABC-AM. He is also the music guru and occasional co-host of Listen Up, a bi-weekly drive-time radio program that is aired on Long Islands WHPC-FM. Numerous other radio spots, including WBAB, WGBB and others are common. He remains an active musician, and his current passion is playing drums and percussion for his band the Revelators.
