American Son Down lived through the story of many bands, and has lived to tell about it. As many bands before, ASD sought their way into a string of successes and was a band firing on all cylinders, then fate took an unfortunate turn for the band. With the band never declared dead, ASD has watched bands come and go, just waiting for the time and the situation to try to put it all back together. That time is NOW.
With the guitar nucleus of the band still intact, Bill Miller and Shawn Jones on guitar and Taylor McDowell on bass, the band still has it's driving force of heavy, in your face guitars, and music that spreads its wings over many genres. Formerly the drummer, Waylon Clark steps out from behind the kit to grab the microphone, and Teddy Lutdman mans the seat behind the skins. With more determination than ever, and a seasoned, talented group of individuals, American Son Down is reborn, and promises to be better than ever. ASD wants to see YOU, back at the shows, and rowdier than ever.
The band is now writing new songs, and putting the pieces back together. It's not the same ASD lineup that made it's mark in the areas music scene, but it's in no way any less of a musical force.

Also for those of you who aren't familair with Halloween in Kent, it is the biggest Halloween festival in Ohio drawing anyway from 10,000 to 25,000 costumed drunks ready to reak mayham downtown till the sun comes up. So the after party will be right there waiting.
