About me:
Cast PosterAMERICAN STANDARD is a bawdy satire of a day in the life of twentysomething New Yorkers ... told entirely from the point of view of bathrooms around the city.

American Standard is an independent feature film currently in pre-production from In The Can Production, directed by Josh Abraham (coeditor of Yankee Pot Roast and contributing editor to the new Cracked magazine), written by Josh Abraham and Jason Kucharsky, and produced by Seth Melnick, Lauzanne Nel (both of SLM Production), Josh Abraham, and Jason Kucharsky.

To meet the cast, see photos, production notes, and oodles more information, please visit americanstandardthemovie.com.
Who I'd like to meet:

This should've been a trilogy, a la LOTR. American Standard: The Fellowship of the Bathroom, American Standard: The Two Urinals & American Standard: The Return of that guy who stands there, straightening the Aqua Velva and then hands you a paper towel after you've washed your hands, just waiting for that dollar, and making you feel really uncomfortable. When am I gonna get to see this thing? Or what I'm really waiting on, the six hour director's cut DVD?

Just saying
"Hi."  It's been a while since I've be able to MySpace.  Just wrapped
my latest film, "Blood; A Butches Tale."  Check out the IMDB Page for details.
It's going to have the look and feel of '300' plus the producers are releasing a video game with it.  There's some pretty good pics of the behind the scenes
stuff; here's the link: Blood Photos

Be Good!

American Standard is bringing people together. Truly a hollywood love story, they met on the set of the party. They mingled, they talked, they fell in love. Was it love at first sight? Only Ray and Kim really know. So congrats to my little bro and his new bride. And thanks American Standard.

HOW DID THE SNEAK PREVIEW GO??

DID PEOPLE LOVE IT AND LAUGH SO HARD THAT THEY WET THEIR PANTS AND HAD TO GO TO THE BATHROOM?

that's what you've intended all along! Cross-marketing at it's finest!

For the record - there are two ways to make the 3-degree Kevin bacon connection:

We were in American Standard with Alison Wright who was in The Nanny Diaries with Laura Linney who was in Mystic River with Kevin Bacon.
OR
We were in American Standard with Adrian Martinez who was in The Interpreter with Sean Penn who was in Mystic River with Kevin Bacon.
I bet there are more...
Can anyone do better?

I'm not a loser, right?
That Guy

May 29 2006 2:04 PM

I'm pretty psyched to get my IMDB page. Now, can anyone connect me to Kevin Bacon in 6 steps? Have any of you been in anything that features someone who has been in a movie that features someone who has been in a movie that features... ... ... Kevin Bacon?
Honestly. Please tell me.
Brent
