American Strange is a unique band based out of Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas that formed in February of 2009. Known for their energetic performances and eclectic sound, they have begun on a journey many have traveled. Only now, they stand far and away from any other style that currently exists. Within a strange dance and a commanding baritone, David Ledbetter fronts the band with many instruments to accompany. Screaming out of a black box, the effective, atmospheric lead guitarist, Benjamin Roberts crafts the bands central sound. Keeping the moment alive with a brisk, yet dark overtone, Matthew Ryan performs his bass with the energy of so few others. Art Fernandez of Another Year Colder, has been picking up the position on drums as of late. Adding to the band, a very Indie Rock beat, complementary to the Symphony that is American Strange.
