Now entering its fifth year, America's Best DJ fosters the growth of US DJ & Nightlife culture by encouraging dance music fans to support their favorite American DJs in a quest to crown the USA’s top jock.

Choosing from a nominated panel of America’s Top 100 DJs, fans vote online at AmericasBestDJ.net and in person at 20 tour stops at some of America’s top club venues (previous tour stops include Pacha (New York), Ruby Skye (San Francisco), Crobar (Chicago), Space (Miami), Krave (Las Vegas), and Vanguard (Los Angeles), culminating in a closing ceremony at a top Las Vegas club venue.

Voters in ABDJ 2009 were automatically entered to win a slew of valuable prizes, including hot new DJ gear from Pioneer DJ, subscriptions to DJ Times Magazine, and a trip to Las Vegas for two to enjoy the ABDJ Closing Party at Las Vegas’ Rain Nightclub at the Palms Casino & Resort, along with 2009’s 1st Place Winner Z-Trip, 5th Place Winner Scotty Boy and other noteworthy DJs and entertainers, including Perfecto's Paul Oakenfold.
