Music is my life's passion. I've been listening to "Heavy Metal" since the mid 70's. It all Started with bands like Sweet, Styx, UFO, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Hendrix, ect. Those early bands motivated and influenced me to learn how to play. I went on to record and tour (in some capacity) with Uncle Slam, Reverend (R.I.P. Dave Wayne), Hirax, Once Dead and currently Anger As Art. I've also toured with thrash metal legends Dark Fucking Angel as guitar tech. Visit me at AngeloEspino.com for more info and photos. Another passion of mine is watching NFL football. As bad as they've been the past couple of years, GO RAIDERS!!!!! Last but certainly not least is my love of beer, both drinking it and brewing it. I've traveled the world visiting breweries and sampling some amazing beers. Belgian Beers Kicks Ass. My wife and I started SCUBA Diving in February of 2008. It's Fucking amazing.

NWOBHM Book - NO SLEEP TILL SALTBURN is OUT now in paperback exclusively at lulu.com.

Featuring seminal North East UK acts, Black Rose, Battleaxe, Satan, Raven, Arizona, Holland and more. Along with Brit Metal kings Saxon and Def Leppard, this affectionate look back at the truly Golden Age Of Rock & Roll documents Mark Gregory's chaotic excursions into fanzine publication, concert promotions, band management and rock radio presentation, against the backdrop of industrial North East England in the early 80s. Here's what the critics say:

“Saltburn, Salford, Salisbury, or Southampton, if you followed any local music scene back in the day, this is a must read!” MIKE SWEENEY: ROCK RADIO - “Bloody Brilliant! Great use of pyro!” GARY PHILIPSON: TFM RADIO - “I was captivated. A really, good read”. LISA MCCORMICK: BBC TEES - “No Sleep Till Saltburn is an important book. It captures an untold story, and also gives you an insight into the humour, the 'Carry On' atmosphere of the time”. CHRIS PHIPPS: ROCK MUSIC HISTORIAN, ITV

NO SLEEP TILL SALTBURN features coverage of Satan's legendary appearances at The Dynamo Eindhoven in 1983 and you can buy it in paperback now at:
