Amedeo Gaspari, also known as Amex, has clearly already earned his place in the trance scene. When he was only 14, Trance caught his attention from the first beat, and it hasn't weakened a bit since. Born in Mirano, near Venezia, in 1986, he moved when he was only 3 to a little town near Milano.
As a producer Amex has found himself at the forefront of the global revolution of dance music. After getting his start as a producer a little over 2 years ago Amex has now entered into the industry as an >artist that is receiving acclaim from artists all over the globe.
But it wasn't until 2007 that things really started rolling for the italian guy. His very first productions, 'Back In The Sun', 'Distant Worlds' and 'Spirals', caused something like a storm in tranceland as it were picked up by literally every big name in the scene, from Armin Van Buuren (2 played on ASOT & Tune Of The Week), to Tiesto (Club Life radioshow).
His songs has been chosen for popular compilations like Shog's Technics Dj Set and Dream Dance and gained top positions in the charts and Amex's radioshow, on air ..hours.fm, is followed by a big number of fan.
2008 is coming, and Amex is ready to rock it! His release-schedule includes some fresh singles: 'Clockworks' on super Tiesto's label Blackhole Recordings, 'Liberty Town E.P.' on famous Bonzai Music and 'Komarna' on well-knowed Alter Ego Records, plus some remixes, including Sied Van Riel's one for dutch-label Liquid/Spinnin;
In the near future, Amex might surprise us more often. He’s still developing his style, though keeping the unique spirit of trance in his mind and his work.
