WELCOME TO THE AMFM RENO MYSPACE, RUN BY BILL ALLEN, BASS GUITAR. AM FM RENO is:
Al Reed: Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar; Formally trained speech level technique, 3 octave range ( high C head voice ) I play rhythm acoustic or electric guitar and bass. I also write my own music and lyrics. I am the son of "Big Al" Reed, rhythm guitarist for the legendary Buddy Holly in the Texas barn dance days and my mother was the original singer back in Estancia high school for Sidros Armada, who has played Nevada casinos for over 40 years. You can visit Al's myspace page at www.myspace.com/dawgbag.-----------
Bill Allen: 5-String Bass, Vocals: Formerly of the local Reno band No Stranger, Bill has been playing bass and drums most of his life. With influences that include Chris Squire and Geddy Lee, Bill's playing style and versatile harmonies and vocals provide an important piece to the AM FM RENO sound. You can visit Bill's myspace page at www.myspace.com/progrockr.----------
Jason Wulf: Lead Guitar, Vocals: Jason Wulf, known for a flashy and aggressive style, is back shredding lead guitar after a year long hiatus. Starting out as a drummer he found his calling as a guitar player and through the circles of brew brothers found his way into cover bands playing with and jamming some of the best talent in our industry.
David Lee: Vox, Pulse Injection Modulator
(Rhythmatist with a complete disregard of timekeeping...but in a good way):
Now living in Nevada, Dave originally hails from Redwood City, California. Early on, he alternated between guitar, piano and drumset. "Sure, it was cool because when they got tired of my teen-age guitar antics, I could switch to drums and have another few minutes of music before they threw me out" opines Dave. He considers his studies in classical and jazz styles at UC Berkeley with famed drummers Steve Houghton (Studio) and David Garibaldi (Tower of Power), the highlights of his musical education.
After college, Dave buckled down to making a career of music, and has toured with Pat Benatar, the Captain & Tennille, Heartache Tonight and others, as well as musical productions such as Hello Hollywood, Hello, High Heel Sneakers and Legends in Concert.
These days Dave spends time playing on various live and recorded projects, and enjoying the company of his wife Cheryl, a true companion indeed.-----
